The ”’Lewis Society of Medicine”’ is the College’s newly established medical society, bringing together all Corpus medics and vets under one banner. Non-medics with an interest in any medically-related field are also welcome to join the society. Our 7 member committee, consisting of both preclinical and clinical students, is responsible for organising a wide range of events and activities throughout the year.

Apart from the traditional subject socials, all our events are open to any member of College wishing to attend. In particular, we run two seminar series, the ”Robin Coombs Seminars” (given by invited speakers on a wide variety of medically-related topics) and the ”William Stukeley Talks” (given by Corpus undergrads and postgrads). We will also be organising a number of non-academic activities over the course of the year, including fundraising events for medical charities and cultural evenings.

If you are interested in joining the LSM, or attending future events, check out our website at [http://www.lewissociety.org.uk www.lewissociety.org.uk] or [mailto:enquiries@lewissociety.org.uk email us directly].
