2012–13: Secretary

Hello! I’m Sam, your JCR Secretary for this year and currently a second-year historian.

My main responsibilities are to take the minutes of JCR meetings and publish them online, as well as to send out the college’s weekly newsletter, Corporeal, which hopefully involves (or so I’m reliably informed) a good dollop of humour and lashings of innuendo. Ah, the life…

2013–14: Catering Officer

Hello! I’m Sam, your JCR Catering Officer for 2013-14 and currently a third-year historian (and also a Tolkien fan, in case you hadn’t already guessed).

Basically, my job involves dealing with all issues related to FOOD (and drink, I suppose, but especially FOOD). I’m hoping these two things will become staples of your life here at Corpus – and of life wherever you are, really – so if you have any ideas/queries/sudden cravings, please don’t hesitate to e-mail me via the above address.

Finally, I’m usually out-and-about in College (i.e. revolving around the Library-Hall axis), so please feel free to stop for a chat if you have any concerns. Interests-wise, I quite like punting, and play the occasional bit of casual football (note the small ‘c’, which means VERY casual).
