JCR Committee: Simon De Ferry
2005–6: Bar Representative
The bar is the spiritual home of many, if not all, hard-working corpuscles, the place where they can relax after a busy day tea drinking and socialising, sitting comfortably in the knowledge that lectures, practicals and supervisions exist only in the minds of other people. The bar is here to fufil all your drinking needs (well, in theory, but we all know the problems associated with the practical application of ideas that work in theory...), and so any problems getting in the way of your complete enjoyment/inebriation please let me know and i'll see what i can do. Im often in the bar, wearing a long black coat that i really like but few others do, and sometimes sporting a goatee, which grows back with alarming rapidity no matter how quickly i shave the bastard off. And, currently, owing to an aversion of hairdressers over the summer, an increasingly large head of hair. Other than that, email is the easiest option. And remember, 'Work is the curse of the drinking classes' - Oscar Wilde
