JCR Committee: Sam Hindes

2007–8: President

I'm Sam and the president of the JCR. The most important feature of my role is being the main point of contact between the student body and college; this means that if you have a problem or an issue that you want resolved I might well be able to help. If you do have particular concerns that you think college could better be addressing then please feel free to email me or stop in at N2 and let me know.

Asides from my relationship to college, I also act as a bridge between the JCR and CUSU. In this way I can ensure that the interests of Corpus are represented at a wider university level. If you have any questions about exactly what it is that CUSU does, or any of their current policies then don't hesitate to ask.

Outside of my role on the JCR I am a 2nd year philosopher and as such can usually be found in the bar holding down witty and intelligent conversation about the nature of being.
