2003–4: Female Welfare Officer

As Female Welfare Officer I'm responsible for looking after your welfare and dealing with any problems you might have, be they welfare, discrimination, or equality related. I also represent your views at CUSU Women's Council, where women's issues throughout the university are discussed (feel free to come along to this if you want, and keep me company! It meets every 2 weeks in term time).

If you do have any problems or questions please contact me, my email is hfa22, and I live in Old Court on P staircase (P6), if I personally can't help you I have loads of leaflets and information on various issues, or I can give you the details of organisations which might be able to help. I'm also here even if you just fancy a chat... I have lots of biscuits and hot chocolate which need eating and drinking!

I also have lots of condoms and pregnancy tests if you need them, if you don't want to ask me yourself just fill in a request form (from the Women's pigeon hole) put it in my pigeon hole, and I will leave the stuff in the Women's pigeon hole for you to collect anonymously.

Also check out the Women's Cupboard in Crystal Palace toilets (Old Court). The cupboard is on the right as you go in and isn't locked. It contains some welfare info and leaflets, as well as condoms and sanitary products for emergency use. Please replace anything you need to use so that it is there when others need it :)
