2011–12: Female Welfare Officer

Hi! I’m Beth, female welfare officer for 2011/2012 and I believe in the two main stress busting food groups – tea and gin. Studying at Cambridge is extremely stressful at the best of times and I will always be on hand in H9 to provide biscuits, tea (or indeed something stronger!) to help push through the tough times. Everything will remain strictly private and if i can’t help I will always know someone or somewhere who can. So please drop in anytime, it’s lonely in exam term!

My role is mainly to listen and help find the right person to deal with specific problems but I can always provide a sympathetic ear and litres of tea to help. It’s also worth pointing out that although I am the “female” welfare officer that this only means that I am a woman. Feel free to drop in no matter what your sex is!
